Kim Amick / COO

Kimberly Amick is a Co-founder and COO for SolvAdvisors and is responsible for sales support, onboarding and training of new clients and overseeing payroll processing operations. With extensive experience in payroll servicing and operational management, Kim has the knowledge and skills necessary to deliver error-free, accurate and time sensitive services to our clients.

Bruce Maxwell / Fractional CFO

Bruce Maxwell is a veteran Fractional CFO with deep expertise in venture finance and technology startups. He has helped fund and organize over 270 companies worldwide, securing more than $97 million in startup capital. As the founder and former CEO of Positive Communications, which he grew to $40 million in annual sales, Bruce brings practical leadership and firsthand entrepreneurial insight to every engagement.

At SolvAdvisors, Bruce builds advanced financial models, forecasts, and valuations that help startups raise capital efficiently and scale strategically. He guides founders through business modeling, investor strategy, and deal execution—offering hands-on support from planning to funding. Bruce holds a BA from Swarthmore College and an MBA from Stanford University.

Leslie

Leslie Speas is a seasoned Human Resources executive with over 30 years of expertise in HR and organizational development. She has a passion for helping leaders and HR teams attract, retain, and develop talented employees.

Leslie holds a master’s degree in industrial/organizational psychology and possesses senior-level HR designations. Her leadership experience spans diverse sectors such as healthcare, manufacturing, technology, financial services, and nonprofits. In addition, she is the author of the book, 7 Habits of High-Retention Managers.

Leslie is heavily involved in furthering the HR profession and serves as a District Director with the North Carolina Society for Human Resources Management. She and her husband, Tracy, reside in Winston-Salem, N.C.
